SZA has recently taken to her Instagram Stories to confess to her fans that her contribution to Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy” was recorded when she wasn’t feeling her best. In a post on Wednesday, December 27, the TDE songbird acknowledged that her lyrics on the track, which also features Sexyy Red, are not easy to decipher.
“I was sick with a fever and couldn’t breathe when I recorded this and told @champagnepapi no one would understand me and I sound crazy,” she wrote. “He said noooo you’re fine anyways here’s the lyrics to RBD once and for all.”
The post has since been reposted to her main feed, along with a clarification of the lyrics to the track1
