The Detroit Pistons are having a terrible season, and their fans are feeling the pain.

The team has lost 21 consecutive games, tying the franchise record for the longest losing streak in its history.

The last time the Pistons won a game was on October 30, when they beat the Orlando Magic 110-103.

Since then, they have been defeated by every opponent they faced, including the Philadelphia 76ers, who crushed them 136-96 on Monday night.

The Pistons are now 2-22, the worst record in the NBA, and have little hope of turning things around.

To make matters worse, their fans are also missing out on a tasty promotion from Wingstop, a restaurant chain that sponsors the team.

For the 2023-24 season, Wingstop had offered "five free boneless wings with every online order for every Pistons win."

However, since the Pistons have not won a game in almost two months, the fans have not been able to enjoy the free wings.

Some fans have taken to social media to mock the Wingstop offer, saying that it is a rip-off and that they deserve more wings for their loyalty.

"Wingstop shamefully moving a little further from the scores after every loss 😭," Bleacher Report social media programmer Molly Morrison wrote on Twitter, along with a screenshot of the Wingstop website.

Meanwhile, SB Nation engagement editor Kofie Yeboah said on TikTok that five wings was no longer an adequate deal and that the number of wings needed to be raised.

"Five wings? Five wings? That's not enough. That's not enough for this pain. That's not enough for this suffering. That's not enough for this torture. We need 10 wings. We need 15 wings. We need 20 wings. We need a whole bucket of wings," he said.

Other fans have expressed their frustration and disappointment with the team, saying that they have lost interest in watching them play.

"I'm done with this team. They are an embarrassment to the city and the league. They have no heart, no talent, no direction. They need to fire everyone and start from scratch," one fan commented on Reddit.

"I used to love watching the Pistons, but now I can't stand them. They make me sick. They are the worst team I have ever seen. They have no chance of winning anything. They should just forfeit the rest of the season and save us all the misery," another fan said on Facebook.

The Pistons will try to end their losing streak on Wednesday, when they face the Milwaukee Bucks, the defending champions, at home.

However, the odds are not in their favor, as the Bucks have won eight of their last 10 games and have one of the best players in the league, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Pistons will also have to deal with the absence of their star rookie, Cade Cunningham, who is out with a sprained ankle.

The Pistons have not made the playoffs since 2016, and have not won a championship since 2004.

They are currently projected to finish the season with a record of 5-77, which would be the worst in NBA history.

The record for the most losses in a season is held by the 1973 Philadelphia 76ers, who lost 73 games.

The record for the longest losing streak in NBA history is 26 games, shared by the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers and the 2013-14 Philadelphia 76ers.

The Pistons are only five games away from tying that record.
